An organic skincare routine is one of the best things you can do to promote the appearance of your skin, and it offers other perks as well. A recent study suggests that using natural ingredients on your skin can address hyperpigmentation and irritation, while another found that it can help reduce skin damage caused by the sun.
There’s so much emphasis on skin care products that it’s easy to forget that healthy skin comes from the inside. Complete nutrition is essential for supporting the health and appearance of your skin. Seek foods with plenty of antioxidants, omega-3 fatty acids, biotin, and vitamins A, C, E, and K. Vitamin A, C, E, and K all support skin tissue growth, regeneration, and encourage smooth-looking skin. Antioxidants help protect skin against damage from free radicals. Even biotin, also known as vitamin B7, supports healthy skin, hair, and nails.
You are what you eat, and the food you put in your body affects how your skin looks and feels. Equally important is using organic products on your skin. That’s why we have created our new Organic Skin Care Bar at The Natural Pharmacy.
Most people view face masks as an optional and time-consuming. However, I am here to show you a few different ways you can incorporate face masks as a weekly treatment to help prolong the health of your skin and how face masks can boost the efficacy of your daily skin care regime.
The first item I want to address is how we think about face masks. A lot of people I talk to about using a face mask on a regular basis typically say that it is too much work or too time-consuming. And if you don’t understand the benefits of face masks and how to choose the right one for your skin type and personal convenience, you will continue in that same mindset. Instead of calling the product a face mask, begin referring to it as a face treatment. Once you realize how amazing masks are for your skin you’ll never want to skip a weekly treatment!
We offer a number of amazing face masks at the Organic Bar and each is custom made. All masks contain organic ingredients made with USDA Grade plant essential oils.
Anti-Aging Bentonite Clay Mask
Clay minerals typically form over long periods of time from the gradual chemical weathering of rocks, usually silicate-bearing, by low concentrations of carbonic acid and other diluted solvents.
Bentonite clay also called Montmorillonite, is a very popular healing clay that also cleanses the body. This clay is made from minerals such as iron, sodium, calcium, potassium, and magnesium, formed from volcanic ash. The name of the clay (bentonite) comes from the biggest deposit of Bentonite clay that is located in Fort Benton, Wyoming.
Adding water to the clay gives it a negative electric charge, which in turn, removes toxins from the body. It works both externally and internally.
Clay works both internally and topically to help detox and clarify. If you desire clear, fresh and vital skin.
Detox Charcoal Mask with Aloe Vera Gel
Activated charcoal is an all-natural product which won’t add to your body’s chemical load. It’s also less likely to cause adverse skin and body reactions than conventional beauty care products.
Hydrating Tumeric & Manuka Honey Mask.
Manuka honey and turmeric will leave your skin super hydrated and glowing. in particular, Manuka helps to oxygenate pores, which draws out bacteria—kicking acne to the curb.
Acne Activated Charcoal: Coconut and Tea Tree Oil Mask

This is a wonderfully hydrating mask with peptides and minerals. The Collagen in our Organic Mask is hydrolyzed or broken down into smaller molecules that can be absorbed. Collagen production decreases as we age, causing your skin to become thinner, drier, weaker and less resilient.
It doesn’t matter if someone has had face work done, you still want your skin to look it’s best!
This custom-made Collagen Mask with Probiotics and more can help boost your skin’s collagen density and slow down collagen degeneration. This is also a great way to hydrate your skin. So clean you can eat it!
Do I need to refrigerate my skincare probiotic products?
A lot of people are asking if Skincare Probiotics need to be refrigerated? The answer is, No. make sure your probiotics in your skin care is fermented! Live strains are put through fermentation, which then releases secondary molecules that are collectively known as probiotic-derived bio-actives. It’s these molecules that have been through the clinical testing to prove they mimic the action of live bacteria, in a more controlled environment, all while being stable!
The potential skin benefits is that they can strengthen the skin’s immune system to better defend against environmental stressors, which can exponentially speed up the aging process. The second benefit is their ability to stimulate a repair response in the skin, without injury, irritation, or inflammation. It’s important to know that harsh chemicals in skin care can cause a Ph disruption, which usually results in dry, red, irritated skin. Another great benefit of probiotic skincare is it keeps your skin’s Ph low which is what we want. Our skin’s Ph is 4.7, another reason to incorporate Probiotics into your skincare routine.
Keep your skincare simple and be sure to read your labels. Usually the shorter the ingredient list the better.
